Celebrate your Babys milestones with Pampers #SwaddlersFirsts {Giveaway}

Disclaimer: This review was made possible by Latina Mom Bloggers and Pampers.  All opinions are 100% mine.
I remember finding out I was pregnant and immediately gathering items to create a memory book. I put in it every doctor appointment, every sonogram, every first special moment. I can still remember the first toy he received and the first outfit he got. So of course once he was born I made sure to capture every first and major milestone even more so!

I actually went a little overboard and even wrote in it the first store he visited (Khols), his first restaurant he went to (Dennys) and even the first tv show he watched (Scooby Doo)! Dont worry though in between all the weird ones Yes I still captured his first step, the first time he stood up alone and his first word. I just felt like everything was so special, am I right moms?
Those memories/mementos/photos are priceless! Even more priceless as he grows each day and continues to make more special memories. Now Pampers wants to do the same. From your baby’s first smile to their first step, Swaddlers can now be there for many more firsts to come!

A Thankful Giveaway!

Happy Gobble Gobble week to all of you! This week is a special one. For me its because I have my kiddo all to myself for 9 days! I've missed him so much since he started school in August. Yes, I know its only a couple hours a day but when you're use to always being together and that changes it can really get to you. So my son is my main reason to be grateful this week. I wish it was longer.

What are you grateful for?

It can be the little things that to others might seem so big. Like when I was online this weekend and its been a really cold one here in San Antonio, most of us Natives are out of our comfort zone. With temperatures in the 40's we are freezing. So I thought how thankful I am for a warm home. This hit me really hard when I saw online how our local shelter was in need. There are people without warmth this season and a lot of local business donated sheets, blankets, jackets and more to help the shelter out to be able to keep more of our citys homeless warm. That really touched my heart. Please if you can this Holiday season give back. It will be the most amazing feeling inside to help others.

Speaking of helping others. My fellow San Antonio Bloggers have really been pulling my heart strings! Everywhere I look they are preforming acts of kindness and gratitude, Thankfulness projects. Like donating there time to wrap Christmas presents for those in need, celebrating there birthday with acts of kindness to strangers and even giving things away like Over at Champagne Taste on A Beer Budget. Where Christina Coker is sharing how grateful she is of all her readers with a giveaway of more than $75 worth of fashion & beauty swag!

Im lucky to be able to share this with all of you! My readers who I am also grateful for. I hope to see you enter and with fingers crossed, hopefully win! You’ll win all the items you see below!
Good luck to you all and please enter in the rafflecopter below! (Giveaway runs from 11/25 - 12/2) Please give it a minute to load or click on the rafflecopter link. Happy Holidays!

Family Trip to The Texas State Aquarium

This past summer we took a family trip to Corpus Christi Texas. The first time I had been able to go (since these trips were a tradition for my brother and sister with my mom and step dad). It was even more exciting since it would be my kiddos first time even seeing the ocean! On the first day there in Corpus my kiddo, sister and I visited The Texas State Aquarium for the very first time!

If you know me then you know that since I was in elementary school I have been insanely in Love with sea life and to be more specific Turtles! So being so close to the beach mixed with the smell of the sea water I was in heaven!

I instantly fell in love with The Aquarium. Its a mix of indoor and outdoor areas that are very kid friendly for the littles as well as for the bigs. Its very interactive and education friendly. Its done in a way where as you discover you are learning about sea life and environments and I enjoyed it so much! As for my kiddo... we spent hours there! He loved it and it was the perfect beginning for our Beach trip.

Here are some photos from our visit to the Texas State Aquarium:
This was the Beautiful ceiling. It felt like being under the sea.
This is my sister holding a starfish! You can actually pick them up underwater. Just don't take them out of the water! She said it was awesome to hold one.
Yes I made a couple of coins! I actually collect them from the places we visit. Its a neat thing I want to conserve along with memories.
My munchkin checking out the sharks!
 Entering the Amazon...
Checking out the underwater Dolphin viewing area
Watching the Dolphin show!
Hanging out with Stingrays. You can touch and feed them too
We went to go see the Beautiful turtles!
And last but not least... The Texas State Aquarium has an amazing water play area for the kids to be able to cool off in. Its the HEB Splash park and its a whole lot of fun so pack some extra clothes!
Hopefully we get to go back soon because it definitely goes on my favorite list! Plus I want to make these beach trips a tradition for my munchkin. Have you ever visited the Texas State Aquarium?

Here are more Happenings from our Vacation:
