Give A mom and Baby the gift of Sleep thanks to Pampers {Giveaway}

Disclosure: This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and Pampers. However, all opinions expressed are my own.
I remember being a new mom with a munchkin all my own and those first weeks being the roughest times for me. Its hard waking up at all times of the night to feed and change your baby and still get some sleep to start the day all over again. Its even harder when you dont have a diaper you can depend on to help you keep your baby dry during those precious sleep hours. But now thanks to Pampers more moms and babies will be getting the gift of sleep.
NEW Pampers goes beyond ordinary diapers to deliver our best for babies. Today we are celebrating the launch of major upgrades across our entire line of diapers, training pants and wipes. By interviewing over 9,000 moms about what was important for their baby, Pampers found the number one unmet need is a diaper that provides superior overnight dryness.
Pampers incorporated this firsthand insight, as well as the brand’s deep understanding of baby and baby’s needs, to design a diaper that both mom and baby can count on for up to 12 hours of overnight protection. The product launch marks a large innovation in the brand’s history. Pampers Baby Dry is up to three times drier than ordinary diapers and provides up to 12 hours of overnight protection and three layers of absorbency. Pampers Cruisers are now more absorbent and offer Pampers’ best fit for all the ways babies play freely.
Here is how I gave another Mom the gift of Sleep:
Me, my sister and kiddo went shopping and had a lot of fun as we looked through baby clothes and accessorizes to help a little one sleep. He needed some nice winter clothes since its just getting cold at night, plus a blanket to keep him warm. What else could a little one need more than a special night light that also lullabies him to sleep? {Of course other than diapers and baby wipes!} But we didn't just look for the baby, we also looked for the mama. Because his mama is tired! She also has a four year old who started his first year of school and baby is one month old! So of course this mama needs all the love she can get. We got her some hair and body stuff as well as some journals and  pens so she can get out all her thoughts. She has a lot of sleepless nights and we wanted to help her feel happy and rejuvenated. So we invited her over and occupied her little one with pumpkin carving with my little one as we helped her out with her newborn.
It gave her a chance to interact with other adults and relax and get some laughs in and some pressure off. We sent her home happily with plenty of treats and two tired little boys who slept good that night.
Baby is even already wearing one of the warm outfits the very next day!

Home Repair Updates {Plus a Home Depot Gift card Giveaway!}

This post is sponsored by The Home Depot. However all thoughts and pictures are my own.

Its been 3 months now that we have been doing some Home Repairs here and there around the house and I wanted to show you some of the updates that have been going on over here thanks to the Home Depot. Not only have they added more of a Hispanic feel to our home but they have also made it more welcome and user friendly.

We knocked down the wall in the bathroom to expand it and add new pieces to it. Our floor had gotten ruined due to things out of our hands so it needed repair badly! We built a ramp outside to allow easier access inside and we got rid of all the carpet from the living room since it had become badly stained and instead put tile and a rug which we got from The Home Depot. Its much easier to maintain now.

Here are some photos of all the construction and happenings:
It doesn't sound like a lot or maybe it does, but it all took some time to get done in between major life changes at home. Some of it isn't even done yet and yes we didnt have a bathroom for a couple of days and it made life even harder. To our family these Home repairs have not only helped our home but have helped our lives by making our home more accessible to my dad. You never realize how much a piece of wood can affect you or even how grateful you can be for it.

And now for a giveaway to get you started on your own Home Repair journey and bring a little sunshine to your world!
You have a chance to win one of three $50 Home Depot Gift cards! Enter through the rafflecopter below and please give it a moment to load. US residents only!
