Summer Watermelon

One of the things on my 75 Days of Summer Fun ideas is to Eat watermelon! Yep, watermelon. To me when I think of watermelon I think of summer. So out we went to get us a big and juicy watermelon! After a day in the fridge when it was nice and cold it was now time to eat. 

We took it outside and I chopped it up! We ate a bunch but of course we couldn't eat it all so the rest I chopped up into itty bitty squares and stored away for later. Watermelon is yummy for Summer! Make sure its super cold because the colder the better and it will be sure to cool you off on a hot summer day. Plus its juicy and sweet so Im sure your kids will love it.

Project 52: Week 23

It sure feels like summer in San Antonio! This past week has been a good one. My kiddo has been experimenting with my camera and doing some self photography! I created a list of 75 summer fun ideas that will help us make it through this hot summer. And this week I was over at Gummy Lump sharing about the theater I made with my munchkin and the finger puppet show we put on, so go and check it out.

75 Days of Summer Fun ideas!

There's only a short number of days before my kiddo heads off to school for the first time. Actually its so small that its less than 80 now! I am a mixture of feelings right now. I am grumpy, fearful, happy and sad and many more all balled up in one. To know that my munchkin will soon be walking through his schools doors for the first time is too much emotion at once but I know its meant to be and good for his future. 

So to make this summer all it can be I have made a list of all the fun things and places we want to go and see before he starts school.

I know it might seem like a lot but I want to have plenty of fun options to do in our area. Things that are memorable and will make this final summer before he heads off to school all that more special for us all!
